Online memorial pages

Two dates, and everything in between.

Memorual gives the person you have lost a page of their own: their story, their photographs, and the memories everyone who loved them still wants to share.

Free while you build it. €75 once when you are ready to publish, and the page stays online for good.

How it works

Three quiet steps, in your own time

Nothing here has to be finished today. A memorial stays a private draft until you decide it is ready.

  1. 01

    Start with a name

Open the page and type their name and dates. That is enough to begin. Nothing is public yet, and nothing is charged.

  2. 02

    Fill in the life

Add the obituary, a quote they were known for, photographs, and the details of the service. Write for an evening, come back tomorrow, or take a month. Your draft is saved and waiting.

  3. 03

    Publish when you are ready

One payment puts the page online at its own link. Share it with everyone who wants to remember, and keep adding to it for as long as you like.

What you are making

A page that looks like a life, not like a form

Every memorial has its own colour, portrait, and story, with room for photographs, service details, and the memories other people leave behind.

  • Eleanor Mitchell

    1934 – 2021

Thirty years behind the library counter, and a legendary apple pie.

  • James Carter

    1958 – 2023

A teacher who brought a story home from every corner of the world.

  • Sofia Reyes

    1945 – 2022

Filled every room with music, and every kitchen with laughter.

These are examples, made to show what a finished page looks like.

Questions

Before you begin

What does a memorial cost?

Building the page is free. Publishing it costs €75, once. There is no subscription, nothing to renew, and we will never ask you for it again.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. You build the whole page first: the story, the photographs, the details of the service. It stays a private draft that only you can see, and afterwards you decide whether to publish it.

How long does the page stay online?

For good. The memorial keeps the same link, so anything you have shared or had printed keeps working, and there is no yearly fee that could quietly let it lapse.

Who can see the memorial?

That is yours to decide. A published memorial lives at its own link that you share with whoever you choose, and you can also have it listed in the garden of remembrance so that others can find it.

Can family and friends add to it?

Yes. Once the page is online, anyone you share the link with can leave a message or a memory, and you stay in control of what appears on the page.

When you are ready, begin.

You can start with nothing more than a name. Everything else can come later, in whatever order feels right.

Your draft is saved as you go. Nothing is published, and nothing is charged, until you say so.
